Before we get started, I would like to give you the definition of advertising. This will give you a better understanding of what I will be talking to you about.
ADVERTISING: n. "the act or practice of calling public attention to one's product, service, need, etc., especially by paid announcements in newspapers and magazines, over radio or television, on billboards, etc."
There are many different forms of advertising.
In this blog post, my primary focus will be centered around online advertising.
We live in such a tech savvy world, so leaving out online advertising shouldn't even cross your mind.
That is, if you are really wanting to turn your business into a success.

PURPOSE
There is always a purpose behind doing something, whether that be professional or personal.
So why should a business even consider advertising?
Well for starters, I can tell you that you will not be able to start a business if you leave out advertising.



It is a necessity, no questions about it!
The main reason for advertising is to capture the attention of users by coming up with well crafted ads that are intended to sell what your business has to offer.
Your primary focus should be on creating out of this world content for your business ads.
People love information, but not to the point where they reach information overload, especially in an ad.
So keep it short and eye-catching!



You will want to identify the most important aspects of your business and what it is that you are trying to sell.
Once you have this figured out, it is now time for your creative side to take over.
As a business owner, you may not have the time to take care of the marketing/advertising side.



Many choose to go with a marketing firm instead.
This is a great idea if you are wanting professionally trained individuals to take care of all your business advertising.

Facebook advertising is the answer!
Using social media as an advertising platform is a great way to reach people who live across the globe. This will give you new cultural opportunities with endless possibilities.
Who wouldn't want their business to become worldwide?
I will be listing a few tips & tricks that you can use to make your Facebook Ads stand out.
Use valid colors for your ad background.
The focal point of your ad is your product, so make sure that those other details within your add do not distract your audience from it.
Call-To-Action buttons should be tested.
Abstain from using text on your Facebook ad image (logo excluded).
Display your product's value in the main ad text.
Headline should be kept short and concise.
Following these rules will help you create a one of a kind Facebook ad that will capture the attention of your audience.



INSTAGRAM ADS
Are you a business owner? If so, are you on Instagram?
You will experience so much more engagement per post than Twitter as well as boosting your brand awareness.
Instagram is another great social media platform that you can use for advertising.
If you are wanting to reach people between the ages of 18-35, this is a great place.
One thing that you will want to remember to do is run your Instagram ads through your Facebook ads manager.
You will want to create a business page for both Facebook and Instagram before you do this.



There are quite a few ad options that you can choose from.

Facebook and Instagram are the two platforms I chose because they are the two most widely used ones out there.
Using either one of these will increase your sales volume greatly.
